Cu Chi Tunnels is located on the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. It is a great place to go to catch up on your Vietnam war history.
We took a group tour bus from Ho Chi Minh and got a day tour of this place. We got a view of the different entrances to the tunnel and the different kinds of traps set up by the Vietnamese soldiers. This place has an outdoor shooting range (for an additional fee). The bullets get pretty pricey, but the guns are huge so it was worth it.
The best part of the tour is reserved for last, you get to crawl through the actual underground tunnel. The entrance is huge but once you get in, the hole gets smaller and you either crawl on all fours or on your two feet (requires more bodily effort). Inside the tunnel the temperature is pretty cool but I had to catch my breath most of the time because of the bodily exertion. The space is enough to fit the body and the thin air forced me to cut my crawling short. Thank god the tunnel has several stops or exits to get out from. Overall the trip was a great outdoor activity.
